Questions about necros
Alright, to begin I have a level 20 necro, all campaigns and such. Now on my necro I have yet to get him maxed death magic and curses staves. So I was wondering how much these would cost and a fairly easy way to get them. I only have 25k to spend on the weapons so I would like to stick with greens or cheap golds.
Furthermore, I do not know what the common runes on the armor are, I have radiant armor currently, for my death magic I have a sup in death as I am fairly sure lower health is good on an mm. But I have a sup in curses on my other scar pattern, so should i go minor curse? Also what should I fill the others in with? Minus dazed or something of the sort?
Finally I would like to know your opinions on the elites most useful to necros. I currently have ss and flesh golem (How surprising). But I was thinking of jagged bones, Aura of the Lich, OoU, and wail of doom as viable options, but what are your opinions on the matter?
Thank you for your help and advice.

First of all, if you are an MM, it's not good with less health... But still stick to the +3 -75 death magic rune. And if you don't even run curses in your MM build, then get another armor peice for MM instead of +3 -75 curses...
But radiant insignas are good for an MM.

Jacado's Staff is a Fairly good staff, but it's not very common. Wiki
As for the elite i run Flesh in NM areas and OoU on HM.
The reason of OoU is that most of your minions will be below 19 and they are not gonna prove much of a challage in HM, Hence why i run OoU.
If i was to run OoU in NM it would be overkill, but i rarely run myself as a MM.
So don't take my word as gold.
But the best elite for Curses IMO is [Assassin's Promise]. Moloch's MoP nuker Build is mega fun to run.

When I was looking to expand my arsenal I used wiki to search all the collectors for weapons with the stats I wanted.
Collector weapons are essentially free... and most stats are available SOMEWHERE in the game.
OR, if you don't wanna mess with that, you can find crafters in some outposts, but they're 5k + materials for the weapons they craft. And not all of them have complete stats or even desirable stats. Or some are completely blank (but inscribable.)

No I have two different masks (or whatever you call them) one with sup curse the other with sup death magic.
But should I just go with a minor curse on my mask?
Btw how much is a ghial's staff?

stone reaper - 10k
ghials - 5k
10k left over, radiants are good
out of the ones you listed id say WoD, try and steer clear of flesh golem and give jagged to a hero. overall you want SS though, maybe FoC
edit: try not to use sup runes, they lower your health and being a squishy, odds are most of the enemies will be making a beeline for you minor runes are pretty sweet

where would be a good place to buy necro staves, I hardly see anyone selling them.
Seems like ghial's and Modti's depravation are some of the better green staffs

Greens would be cheaper. If you find yourself with an abundance of cash later on you can rig up one of the nicer skin golds however you want.

For a MM, you want Sup Death for sure. You can run with an additional Sup SR as well, once you get the hang of it. Stick with a Minor SR at first. Also, a Minor Blood is good on a MM. Insignia-wise: Radiant is OK, but I'd run MM Armor or even Tormentors before Radiant.
For Curses, use a Minor Curses on a Curses headpiece. For Insignia, Survivors, hands-down.
On BOTH builds, use the largest Vigor rune you can afford.

FG isn't great, but you can't screw anything up with it. It's a decent beginner elite. JB is for heroes. AotL and OoU are the only two serious MM elites for players. OoU is better in general PvE, AotL is better for PvP.
WoD is a Curses elite for more advanced players. SS would be better for most beginner and mid-level curses builds.

I prefer a wand and offhand in most cases for dual 20/20. For newer players I recommend collectors weapons in almost all cases. Get the best functional items you can. After that you can start working on "looks".
Death20/20, Curse20/20, Death20/20, Death20/20, Curse20/20, Curse20/20, and finally to look for staves or different mods check Collectors.

For a MM, wand+offhand ARE better. However, he specified CHEAP. I would guess that one green is cheaper than two.

(did you just completely ignore my collector weapon suggestion? The skins aren't as unique and interesting as greens or rare drops, but seriously they're basically free and it's easy to get the items to trade for the weapons which oftentimes are quite good if you do a little research to find the collector with a weapon with the stats you want.)

Wrong, WoD is a Soul Reaping elite. and because of that it's useful in many necro builds.

Agreed - collectors are definitely the way to go if "cheap" is your priority.
I also agree that a 40/40 wand+focus set is best overall.

Ew... No it's not. +30 hp is just bad for a MM no matter how you cut it.
We've gone over MM weapons at ridiculous length recently, so refer here for the long answer for what's best for a MM.
Short answer is:
A 20/20 wand + 20HCT,20% +1 Death Magic focus is probably the "best" weapon set for a MM.
+5e, 20/20, + 20HCT,20% +1 Death Magic staff is a very close second, and it's much cheaper because Ghail's Staff is so easy to get.

Dual 20/20 is definitely the way to go for Curses.
It's probably not the best choice for Death -- OK, but not the best.
Many blood builds benefit a lot from 20% enchant, so that makes spear+focus or staff better choices than dual 20/20 for Blood.
